Dodge is set to invigorate its muscle car lineup with the introduction of the twin-turbocharged HURRICANE I6-powered Charger SIXPACK models, slated for production commencement in May and deliveries anticipated this summer. These models will be the first internal combustion engine (ICE) variants of the LB-generation Charger to hit the market.

The Charger SIXPACK will be available in two configurations:

  • Four-Door SIXPACK: Delivers 420 horsepower, surpassing the previous Charger R/T by 50 horsepower.
  • Two-Door SIXPACK: Boasts 550 horsepower, exceeding the 2023 Charger Scat Pack by 65 horsepower.

These high-output six-cylinder models aim to uphold Dodge’s muscle car legacy while enthusiasts await the return of V8 performance.

Looking ahead, Dodge engineers are actively developing a HEMI® V8-powered version of the new Charger, with production targeted for late 2026. This initiative underscores Dodge’s commitment to offering a diverse range of powertrain options, blending traditional V8 power with modern twin-turbocharged I6 performance.

The HURRICANE I6 engine not only delivers impressive power but also meets contemporary emissions standards without compromising performance. Nonetheless, the anticipated return of the HEMI V8 is expected to resonate with Dodge loyalists who cherish its distinctive rumble.

Dodge’s forthcoming Charger lineup promises to cater to a broad spectrum of performance enthusiasts, balancing innovation with the brand’s storied muscle car heritage.
